Welcome to the Woodturners
of Polk County Web site. Meeting Schedules: We meet monthly on the Second Thursday of each month
at 7:00 pm. In the summer months,
we meet at the Bartow Civic Center, and during the winter at H,L & M
shop in Highlands City. Next Meeting: The next meeting will be on Thursday May 8, 2008 at the
Bartow Civic Center at 7:00 pm. The
meeting will consist of short
business meeting, announcements, a time of show and tell about your latest
work, followed by a demonstration by John Kriplean on a small finial lid
for a box. Special events:
We will be holding a sawdust session at the shop of Al and
